Ann McDaniel has been a director of Match Group since 2015. She currently serves as a consultant to Graham Holdings Company and previously served as Senior Vice President of Graham Holdings Company (and its predecessor companies) from 2008 to 2015. From 2017 to 2022, she served as CEO of Foreign Policy Magazine. Prior to that, Ms. McDaniel served as Vice President, Human Resources of The Washington Post Company. Ms. McDaniel also served as Managing Director of Newsweek, Inc., a Graham Holdings Company property, from 2010 to 2012, and prior to that, held various editorial positions at Newsweek.
Ms. McDaniel brings deep expertise in human resources, business strategy, leadership, and marketing, as well as experience managing a portfolio of brands. Her background supports the Board’s oversight of Match Group’s strategy, structure, and talent management. She also provides important perspective on executive management and compensation, helping ensure that incentive structures are aligned with long-term strategic priorities and stockholder value creation.
